Important Update: The Stryders Camp Saratoga 5K Trail Series is off. Due to some guidance received from those in charge of Wilton Wildlife we’re not going to have the trail series this year, virtually or in-person. We will have a single virtual race in August.
Stryders Virtual Trail Race – August
The fifth virtual race – remember if you run in four of the five you receive a Stryders buff – will be a 3-mile trail race. Signup information will be sent out soon but the key things to know are:
• Run the 3 miles between August 8-15 at any trail you choose. (Saratoga Spa XC and Wilton Wildlife courses are both about 3 miles).
• No flat trails allowed, but major hill climbs are not necessary.
• Does my trail have a hill? Yes – Ok; No - Try again.
• Does my trail have some rollers? Yes – Ok; No – Try again.
• Bonus volunteer point offered for male/female with highest elevation gain (if you can prove it on Garmin/Strava/MapMyRun/etc.)
• Proceeds from the race will be used similar to Stryders Camp Saratoga Trail Series with donations to Wilton Wildlife and Friends of the Saratoga Spa State Park.

Camp Saratoga is located on Scout Road between Route 50 and Edie Road in the Town of Wilton.
Driving Directions
From Exit 15:
Head northeast on Route 50 towards Ballard Road.
Turn left onto Scout Road (if you hit the Ballard/Taylor Road intersection you've gone too far...)
Proceed under the railroad overpass.
The Camp Saratoga parking lot is 100' on your right.
From Exit 16:
Head east on Ballard Road.
100' from Northway overpass turn right on Edie Road.
Proceed approximately one mile and turn left on Scout Road.
Proceed approximately one mile to Camp Saratoga parking on your left.
